What if we told you that you could easily broadcast live on your radio station via your smartphone? Interested? Well, keep reading!<\/p>\n

Creating a live stream setup from your smartphone to your online RadioKing stream is incredibly simple. One easy way of going about this is to download the BroadcastMySelf App<\/a> found on the PlayStore\u00a0<\/strong>for $2.99<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Update 2021<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Unfortunately, the BroadcastMySelf App is no longer available on the PlayStore. We invite you to use MediaCast<\/strong><\/a><\/span> in order to broadcast live via a smartphone. You’ll find our step-by-step tutorial here<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Configuration<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Once you’ve installed the app, head over to the 3 dots in the top right corner<\/span><\/strong> to get started:<\/p>\n

\u00a0On the menu, select Output mode<\/strong><\/span> and then Icecast V2 Server<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You’ll need to configure your Output Settings<\/span><\/strong> by filling in your live connection information, as shown in the screenshot below:<\/p>\n

You can find all your relevant login information under the Live tab<\/span><\/strong><\/a> of your Radio Manager:\u00a0<\/p>\n

As soon as you’ve\u00a0finished configuring the relevant fields, re-start the app for\u00a0your changes to\u00a0be taken into account.<\/p>\n

Broadcast live<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

To add tracks to the app which you can then play live, click again on the three vertical dots and select Music Folder<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Simply tap\u00a0on the folder itself to view any tracks within, the Parent button<\/strong><\/span> will take you back. Once you’re happy with the folder and the tracks within, tap on Choose<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

You’re now just about ready to go live! Head back to the home screen and tap on the middle button<\/strong><\/span> between the two faders. If everything has been configured correctly, \u00ab\u00a0Connected<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb \u00a0should appear.<\/p>\n

You’re now live on your radio station! Simply select your chosen track to play it.\u00a0<\/p>\n
